Bad Blood Germanium Overdrive
Bad Blood is our take on the Fulltone OCD* germanium overdrive circuit. It’s driven by two 2N7000 Mosfet transistors and two 1N34A Germanium diodes for an open, tube-like overdrive with a large dynamic range. We’ve also added two gain knobs for even more flexibility than the original. You can set one gain knob to a lighter overdrive and the 2nd gain knob to higher gain and switch between them with the A - B footswitch. We’ve also included LED indicators under each gain knob so you can easily tell which one is activated.
Knobs and footswitch descriptions:
Level: Adjusts the volume of the effect
Filter: Adjusts the tone
A: Controls the gain
B: Also controls the gain
Bypass Footswitch: Turns the effect on and off
A - B Footswitch: Toggles between the A & B gain knobs
This pedal has true bypass switching, and can be run at 9 volt or 18 volt DC power with a 2.1mm negative center barrel.
