Ready to wander into some weird waters? The Lost Soul is an expressive echo/vibrato/wow & flutter fuzz device. You can emulate an irregular, wobbly tape effect, or take this thing into fuzzy, vibrating madness. This pedal can definitely get into some experimental territory, but you can also set it to produce a classic slap-back delay (if you’re into that kind of thing. Which WE are, but maybe you aren’t. And that’s okay. I guess). Also, the fuzz by itself (with no modulation blended in) ain’t too shabby either. Might be time for you to lose yourself and explore some new territories. Knobs and switch descriptions:
Output: Controls the output volume
Input: Controls the volume of the signal sent through the circuit. Increasing the Input adds more gain to the circuit
Blend: Mixes in the modulation effect
Depth: Controls the intensity of the modulation. Clockwise for less and counterclockwise for more.
Saturation: Interactively works with the Depth control. Affects the tracking of the modulation and allows the wobbliness to linger longer. Clockwise for less and counterclockwise for more.
Decay: Controls the rate of the delay. Clockwise for quicker repeats and counterclockwise for longer repeats.
Color: Adds more repeats and/or oscillation to the circuit
NOTE: This pedal uses a feedback loop to create the oscillation/repeat effect with the Color knob. This means that it sends the output signal from the pedal back into its input. It matters where you place it in your signal chain. For best results, have it as the first pedal in your chain or only place it after true bypass pedals that are turned off. Also, it works best with passive pickups. If you have active pickups and are not getting the results you would like, try a guitar with passive pickups.
This pedal has true bypass switching and requires a 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel.
