The Thickness Fuzz Pedal
The Thickness is a 2 transistor fuzz...with eyeballs. Great for a blown out, ripping fuzz or big, sludgy chords. Works well with bass or guitar. We’ve added a feedback loop so you can create even more sketchy sounds from your rig.
It comes in two different colorways: Glow-in-the-Dark & Slime Green. The Glow-in-the-Dark version is white in the light. The Slime Green pedal DOES NOT glow-in-the-dark. Only the white one does. Like any other glow-in-the-dark item, you need to expose the pedal to light (or black light) for it to "charge" before it can glow when it's dark.
Knobs and switch descriptions:
Loudness: Controls the output volume
Darkness: Controls the tone. Turn it counter-clockwise for more highs and clockwise for more lows
Madness footswitch: Activates the feedback loop
NOTE: This pedal uses a feedback loop to create the oscillation effect. This means that it sends the output signal from the pedal back into its input. It matters where you place it in your signal chain. For best results, have it as the first pedal in your chain or only place it after true bypass pedals that are turned off. Also, it works best with passive pickups. If you have active pickups and are not getting the feedback results you would like, try a guitar with passive pickups.
This pedal has true bypass switching and requires a 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel.
