Unhinged Fuzz Pedal
Unhinged is a 4 transistor fuzz ready to erupt. It’s our take on the classic EHX Green Russian Big Muff* circuit. It’s got a girthy low-end along with a sizzling top-end for huge, sludgy chords, or mix-cutting leads. It also works great for bass by retaining your low end frequencies. We’ve added a feedback loop so you can create even more sketchy sounds from your rig.
Knobs and switch descriptions:
Level: Controls the output volume
Fuzz: Controls the amount of fuzz
Tone: Turn it up for more highs and down for more lows
Rage: This knob only works when you activate the ERUPT footswitch. Use it alongside the other knobs to control the behavior of the feedback loop
Erupt footswitch: Activates the feedback loop
NOTE: This pedal uses a feedback loop to create the oscillation effect. This means that it sends the output signal from the pedal back into its input. It matters where you place it in your signal chain. For best results, have it as the first pedal in your chain or only place it after true bypass pedals that are turned off. Also, it works best with passive pickups. If you have active pickups and are not getting the feedback results you would like, try a guitar with passive pickups.
This pedal has true bypass switching and requires a 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel.
